2015 지구촌 새마을지도자 대회의 참가자로서 우리는 새마을운동을 통해 지구촌의 절대빈곤을 퇴치하고 국제사회의 지속가능한 발전을 선도할 수 있도록 아래와 같이 함께 노력할 것을 선언한다.
We, the participants of Global Saemaul Leadership Forum 2015, having met in Daegu, Republic of Korea, during 24-27th November 2015, to seek new path for sustainable devleopment and eradication of absolute poverty through Saemaul Undong, hereby declare as follows:
   1. (새마을지도자1) 우리 새마을지도자는 새마을운동이 마을환경개선, 선진기술 활용,소득증대 등을 통해 지역사회 발전에 적극 기여할 수 있다는 인식을 공유하며, 근면·자조·협동의 새마을정신을 직접 실천하고 마을공동체 사업에 헌신한다.
Recognizing the positive changes made by Saemaul Undong such as village conditions improvement, smart utilization of technology and income increase, the Saemaul Leaders will act out the Saemaul Spirit of ‘Diligence, Self-Help and Cooperation’ and devote to the community activities. 
   2. (새마을지도자2) 우리 새마을지도자는 새마을운동의 계속적 확산이 지역사회의 지속가능한 변화를 가져올 수 있다는 인식을 공유하며, 보다 많은 주민들에게 새마을정신을 전파하고 자발적인 새마을조직이 결성되도록 앞장선다.
Recognizing that continuous widespread of Saemaul Undong is essential for the sustainable development of the community, the Saemaul Leaders will take the lead in introducing the Saemaul Spirit community wide and establishing local Saemaul Undong organizations.
    3. (정부관계자1) 우리 협력국 지방정부는 새마을운동이 주민주도적으로 이루어져야 한다는 인식에 공감하며, 지역사회개발과정에서 시민사회의 참여를 독려하는 지역 거버넌스 체제를 구축하는데 노력한다.
Affirming that Saemaul Undong should be implemented through resident’s participation, the Local Governments of Saemaul partner countries will help establish a democratic governance system to encourage  participation of the civil society.
   4. (정부관계자2) 우리 협력국 중앙정부는 정부의 종합계획과 전략적 지원이 새마을운동의 성공에 중요한 역할을 하였다는 인식에 공감하며, 새마을운동의 요소를 도입한 지역개발계획을 수립하고 성과 기반의 지원정책을 마련하는데 적극 노력한다.
Affirming the importance of a governmental plan and strategic support for Saemaul Undong, the Government of Saemaul partner countries will devise a community development plan adopting essential elements of Saemaul Undong and a performance-based support program for rural villages. 
   5. (대구시장) 대한민국 지방자치단체는 새마을운동을 통한 지역공동체 구축과 지역발전의 경험을 보다 많은 개발도상국과 공유하기 위해 협력국 지방정부와 긴밀하게 협력하며 봉사단 파견 및 새마을운동 실천 등을 적극 지원한다.
Recalling the experience of promoting the community and rural area through Saemaul Undong, the Local Government of Korea will closely cooperate with the Local Governments of partner countries by dispatching voluntary corps and supporting the implementation of Saemaul Undong.
   6. (행자부 장관) 대한민국 정부는 새마을운동을 통한 한국의 성공적인 발전경험을 보다 많은 개발도상국과 공유하기 위해 협력국별 종합계획 수립, 새마을지도자 양성, 시범마을 조성, 그리고 새마을금고 육성 등을 적극 지원한다.
Recalling the significant role Saemaul Undong played in the course of national development, the Government of Korea will actively share its Saemaul experience with its partner countries through support for development of national strategy, invitational training program for Saemaul Leaders, pilot village projects and establishment of microfinance practice at community level.
